Maintenance Electrician

Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $55 – $61 per hour

The Opportunity

Programmed Skilled Workforce is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a high-performing maintenance and reliability team based in Ingleburn. This role is critical to maintaining site operations, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis on plant and equipment

• Electrical maintenance and breakdown support across processing, filling, packaging, and warehouse systems

• Responding promptly to equipment stoppages and performance issues

• Working closely with Site Reliability Managers and Engineers

• Coordinating with external service providers

• Recording work orders and spare parts usage in the MEX CMMS system

• Supporting reliability planning and spare parts availability

• Training and mentoring operations and reliability teams

• Providing on-call support as required

Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology

• NSW A-Class Electrical Licence

Preferred / Highly Regarded:

• Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing

• CMMS experience (MEX preferred)

• Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and automation

• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, OEM manuals, and P&IDs

• Experience with stock control and inventory management

• Boiler and steam maintenance qualifications

• Tetra UHT filling and packing systems experience

• Forklift Licence
